Math Spiral Review and Reading Fluency

I am excited to introduce two of my new resources in my TPT store!!!

1.) The NUMBER OF THE DAY, which includes numbers from 10 to 185!! This is a great daily review activity that incorporates some of the 1st and 2nd-grade common core standards.  I love it because it can be used as morning work, homework, or daily skills practice.  It has different activities all on one page to increase my students' knowledge and strengthen their confidence!! Check this out in my TPT store! Click on the picture below.

2.) FICTION AND NONFICTION READING FLUENCY PASSAGES!

My kiddos LOVE these fluency passages!! This is an entire year's worth of reading fluency passages! There are 28 fictional and 32 nonfiction passages! Each of the passages focuses on a particular sound.  These were designed based on the sounds children learn in first grade but could be used for any grade.  The passages get progressively harder.  I use these passages weekly in my fluency station! My students work with a partner.  They use a digital timer and take turns testing/reading and marking off where they stopped reading. Each passage comes with a section in which children write down their score up to three times, which gives them a chance to beat their own score.  They love that they can "play" at beating their own score!

The passages can also be great for small groups, homework, assessments, or tutoring. For additional practice, I also have my students go through and highlight/underline the words they found with the focus sound for the week. Click on the pictures below to check these out in my TPT store!

Here's a picture of each passage and its content.  I hope your kiddos will enjoy these as much as mine do!! Happy teaching!
