Catching Up

October and November have been so busy! I can't believe December is already upon us.  We have been busy in our classroom.  October was the busiest!! Report cards were due, parent conferences, PBIS activities, a Spooktacular fundraiser, classroom door contest, a Halloween parade, and a classroom party to end the month!  For our door contest, my students made footprint witches. Also, during this month I had my kiddos create "Halloween monsters."

November is almost gone.  We are starting our Thanksgiving break this week!! Woohoo!! This will give me a chance to catch up on many things.  I have begun teaching informational writing.  This past week my kiddos learned all about turkeys and wrote informational pieces.  For fun, I decided to have them draw a turkey with a twist!  Since we live in California they drew surfing turkeys!! My students had a blast drawing and their laughter was contagious. Here's a photo of their turkeys!
