Guys, I love my kindergarten classroom! I love how all the decor came together, and the overall "homey" feeling I get when I walk into the room. It's bright, colorful, clean, decluttered and welcoming. I just love it!

By far, my classroom library is my most favorite corner! |
My room is such a hodge-podge of things that came together well. I made these crate benches and got the cute rocking chair on the Facebook marketplace. I painted it black and made a seat cushion to match my benches. |
I had the cutest floor lamp in the corner, right behind my bookshelf display, BUT the fire Marshall came and asked that we remove all floor lamps. Below is a picture of when I had the lamp, before the fire Marshall's visit! It looked super cute!

This is my rainbow sight word wall. I keep track of my kids' sight word learning progress on this board. I love how the rainbow pops against the black. ![]() Classroom view from the front door. Sight Word Super Hero!
I covered my teacher chair at the reading table with the same fabric I used to make my crate benches. The covers on the stools are from Ikea.
My kids love this "queen" chair in my classroom. They sit on it all the time!
The blue storage drawers on the tables house my kids' crayons, pencils, glue sticks, and scissors.
My kindergarteners did a wonderful job keeping those compact storage drawers neat and clean. I had six of everything. Everything fit perfectly in there!
The blue 3-drawer storage keeps all of my learning games and word work. Each drawer holds one or two games. The purple dots on the drawers let my kids know which games they are allowed to use for the week. I move the dots to different drawers every week.
This is the back of my classroom. I made the valance on the window with black, polka dot fadeless paper to match my polka dot paper lanterns.
My students use the clips on the side of my mailboxes to check out books from the classroom library. It is my check out, check-in system. It works perfectly well, even with Kindergarteners.
Here's a closer look at how I organized the clips.
There you have it, my kindergarten classroom! I work hard to keep my classroom organized and free of clutter. I have trained my kiddos to do the same. Clutter stresses me out, and I think it can also stress students out.
Happy teaching everyone!
